The trailrides are all over the place. the most difficult ones are in the winter when the snow gets deep (its all about low pressure and low gears) Also North Medow Creek in the tobacco roots near ennis is popular. there are lots of trails and some rockcrawling, but nothing terribly difficult for your rig. Pipestone near boulder is a cool place and there are some trails in the bridgers. In general in the summer there aren't any trails that are difficult so we also go to the sand dunes in rexburg Idaho for a weekend in the summer. Also the club goes yearly arroung spring break to Moab.

There is a $0.25 tow fee for every time you get stuck, it more of a joke than anything, but it's pretty cheap when you have to get towed home.

oh, by the way there is no drinking on club rides and we DO NOT tolerate any illegal off trail driving or littering. Trying to keep trails open is hard enough without wreckless A**holes.

(not accusing, i've never met you, just letting you know what the mountaineers are all about)

I totally understand man. I am from South Dakota and we put on the Black Hills Cruiser Classic and same rules. There are a lot of people out there who don't really care and ruin it for every one else. So I agree with those rules 100%.
