I can't remember what I did with mine when me and cam did my steering... I imagine it went into the garbage but maybe cam has it in a box someplace since he does like to save random things

just heard back from Kurt at cruiser outfitters, his shipping is 15 bucks. That I can handle. 27 and 40 from two other places...
so I ordered a stock rag joint, I'll still take the column apart, I have a suspicion that the collapsable joint is compressed a smidge which is what put the pressure on the rag joint.
Or it could just be that it was 30 years old..

Yeah 81 or so they switched to collapsable. A few less impalings by steering shaft maybe?
Tho I don't know why that would really matter with the head trauma a 40 crash would cause...

yeah...that hill was somethin.
After Jays slide, I started backing down, and cam gave my hood a shove...and then I slid the rest of the way down.
Right around then was the shark jumping moment of the day I think , there were a few hours of suck before we escaped to the pub
