Hey guys and girls , I removed 1hz sump to fix strainer and can't get sump back on . The 2 bolts in main seal won't go into sump . The plate between motor and bell housing won't let sump push in . Any ideas gurus on how to get sump on

Somethings moved or stuck. If it came off like that it must go back on. Has something fallen between the plate and block ? Is the engine in/out of vehicle? Got any pics of the bolts or anything?
Have you tried putting the sump on at the rear of the engine first?

Motor is still in car , the plate between block and bell house is like spring steel . Two threaded bolts stick down from rear main seal at back in centre . If you push sump up there's 5mm difference between sump holes and thread . Think I'll loosen off bell housing only need 5mm to be able to do it easily
