I see tons of information on the fixes for the FJ40 Odometer repairs, but nothing for the 60 series. Has anyone worked on this odometer and possibly have some pictures and advice? I'm not adverse to diving in to it, but it would be good to have some intel before I do. Thanks

Have you checked the speedometer cable?

The speedometer works fine and the tenths turn on the odometer. It’s just not turning beyond that. The cable is fine.
I’ve done this on an 81 FJ40 and it was very simple. You just have to be very careful taking it apart and replacing parts in correct order. My 40 didn’t have any tamper tape or anything to show if it was touched - not sure about 60. Usually it’s just some dried up grease that is creating enough resistance that it gets stuck on the tenths wheel.
