I bought a nice 82 FJ40 and the previous owner had engineered himself some nice storage drawers for the back. I liked the way this was done but I decided to remove the drawers in favor of the stock jump seats. This drawer setup is easy to install and will drop right into a late model FJ40 - 79 through 83. Would probably fit early models but there are some subtle differences in the bodys after 78 so I cannot say for sure. The drawers are deep and they are on full extension jambs. They didn't rattle and they worked great. The setup leaves you with a 2-seater and huge flat carpet covered platform in back to load full of camping gear and two huge drawers to fill.
This would also have to be picked up in Iowa. It would be a PITA to ship. It's a nice set up and all I require in return is a nice bottle of Single Malt Scotch and a good cigar!
