I'm going to mount a minitruck PS box on one of those aftermarket brackets that duplicate the stock shock tower and provide a base for the minitruck box.

My question, as the title states, has to do with the position of the stock pitman arm mounted to the mini box; where/or how do I find the correct "clocking" position? I used a punch and marked the mini arm position before I pulled it, but the mini box and stock box don't mount in the same position; I need to figure the best-fit position.

My guess is that I need to have the wheels as close to straight ahead as possible, then turn the box input all the way one side, then all the way the other, then find center as best I can, mark it, mount the box, then mount the arm to mate up with my steering rod.

Somebody please tell me if I'm missing something, or if there's a better way.

Thats about all there is to it... Go for it dude.

when i did mine i centered the wheels, the turned the wheel lock to lock to find center and mounted the arm where it laid, then went for a test drive to adjust as needed with the drag link to center the steering wheel.
