Stinky Ride

    MY LAND CRUISER IS A 1991, EVERYTHING STOCK. NOW, I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE THIS TRUCK DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING STENCH OF GAS. THE TRUCK HAS A ROUGH HOT IDLE AND RUNS RICH. I WAS TOLD THAT THE FUEL INJECTORS ARE STUCK OPEN. MY GAS MILEAGE IS TERRIBLY LOW. IVE HAD A TUNE UP, CORRECT TIRE SIZE, FUEL FILTER, PCV VALVE ALL REDONE ABOUT A YEAR AGO, BUT AFTER I HAD THE VALVES ADJUSTED I STARTED TO HAVE THIS TERRIBLE IDLE. I WAS EVEN TOLD NOT TO DRIVE DUE TO A POSSIBLE FIRE STARTING IN THE ENGINE. DUNNO. ANY HELP. :confused:

    Why are you screaming...lose the caplock.

    It's sounds like the FPR (fuel pressure regulator).
