Nice to have stickied info.. . I do not know if it is possible but if you look at the tech forums they have a divider bar for the stickies. That way it is clear which ones are the stickies. Might make it clearer to view... maybe woody can enable it if you want it.

Also sometimes too many stickies end up not getting read. I'm not sure on why. But When I sticky things in the 70 section they litterally stop getting read. But if a thread pops up on it's own it gets reads. People get too used to seeing stickies I presume. SO I ended up unsticking items and letting play on there own. The only stickies I kept were more important ones......

There is a mercedes forum I go to where the stickies are also on the next page. Drives me bonkers. Muds much better....

Cheers, Darryl

Hi Darryl,
I don't see an option for dividers, I'll ask Woody.
I hear ya on the stickies, I'll try to refresh them a bit when they get stale. I think a lot of stickies are pointless you end up just scanning right by.

Some forums have waay too many. In the diesel section we say just two was right. But sometimes more info is needed than two. Especially clubs.

Yah I do not have control with the dividers in the tech sections. SO it must be an admin thing.

You can tell when a sticky stops gettting views by watching the views number and posts. If you don't get new posts and the views grow slowly the thread is almost done.

Especially an unlocked thread. The locked ones are hard to tell. As only views come into place. I made the FAQ for importing and watch the views on it. It steadily rises. So I keep it around. If it falls off I will just make it a link in the normal FAQ that Stone made.
