I recently purchased 2003 climate controls along with the factory brackets to convert my nav to a nonnav system. Do I need this dash kit? KT-LX002B

I plan to use the ML existing factory amp to power the mids and highs with the wire harness from crutchfield. However, I plan on adding another 5 channel amp
to power 2 new 6x9 4 ohms in the front, 2 new 6 3/4 speakers 4ohms and a new rear sub. I plan to use 4 channel patch cables to connect to the back of my radio. Will this setup work?
Do you think I can fit a 8-inch sub in place of the factory 6-inch sub with some mounting modifications? Kicker CompRT 43CWRT81 CompRT shallow-mount 8" subwoofer with dual 1-ohm voice coils at Crutchfield
worst case the ML speakers wont work and I would still be left with some decent speakers using the new setup?
