Looking to replace the steering wheel on a '95 pickup. The PO of this truck put a truly hideous aftermarket wheel on it, so my initial thought was to find an OEM leather wheel from a 90-95 SR5 pickup. However, I can't seem to track down any of these OEM wheels in good shape—wrecking yards are asking $100+ for really worn and beat up examples.

Has anyone put a good-looking aftermarket wheel in their truck? Mind posting a photo?

Well, you have the gamut, Momo, Grant and the likes.

I had a Grant 4 spoke on an older truck that was Ok, came with the truck and looked Ok with no issues. But, you are looking at a $40-60 wheel, $20-30 for an adapter and another maybe $10 for a cheap-o wheel puller if you do not have one. So, $70-90 for aftermarket, or buy and refurb an OEM wheel and look the part.

Hit up the classifieds for anybody parting out a truck, or post up a needed/wanted thread:meh:

Or you can channel your inner cholo and go with one of these:hmm:

Yea, I was thinking I'd rather spend ~$75-100 on a good aftermarket wheel (at least it would be new!) than the same amount on a cruddy old OEM one. Is there anyone refurbing OEM wheels with a good reputation? I'd totally rock a chain link wheel, but then I'd need to get more plaid shirts and knee-high socks so the overall cost is probably higher
