My steering wheel has seen the last of its days, the leather is all worn out and is bugging the s***t out of me so i have been searching for a new one. I found a decent one locally for a fair price but it is out of a 91, and I have a 96. Will this steering wheel work for me or should i stick to my year?

Thanks,
Nick

Your 96 should have an airbag, that 91 doesn't. You should be fine with a 96-97 or maybe a 95 steering wheel.

There is a guy here that recovers them too. AATLAS sp?

You don't want to fool with the steering wheel with the airbag unless you need to. You should consider a string-on cover or having it professionally recovered.

Wheel skins are pretty nice. You just have to take your time lacing it up. And then some physical therapy from the carpal tunnel.

Thanks for the info, forgot about the airbag deal, thought just getting a new wheel would be the easiest/cheapest way to go, guess ill have to check in with getting it re-wrapped.
