Howdy all. I found a couple of these puppies floating around various places on the net. I was hoping anybody could comment on the supplier as I've never purchased anything from them, nor found much on mud-site regarding them either.

Here's the right tie rod end:
Right Tie Rod End Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ55 555 : eBay Motors (item 270499914542 end time Apr-10-10 09:27:50 PDT)

And the other tie rod ends:
New 75 Toyota Land Cruiser Tie Rod End - Tie Rods & Center Links Truck Parts

or this rod end part:

Any input or thoughts would be MOST appreciated!

Thanks y'all!

When I first bought my 55 I bought a full set of tie-rod ends from Specter Off Road. I've been very happy with them. I think the full set was $69.99 if I remember correctly. The brand, I'm not sure of.

There was a guy out of England selling tie rod ends for the '40/'55 very cheaply because they were for LHD 'Cruisers and England is a RHD country. It was something like $15 for the complete set of 4! That's what's on my truck right now and I'm happy.

Unfortunately I cannot remember the Ebay name.

here is the guy, bought some myself. eBay My World - yazsey

I bought a set from CCOT. They look great in the box they arrived in.

Thanks guys! I'm going to probably just order all new ones instead of trying to press in the poly option from SOR. I'll have enough other bushings to press and deal with, saving a little time on these will be nice:)

On the same topic...drag link assembly? Is it really $160+ for one? If so I'm thinking I'll take the time on that to press new bushings into:)

Thanks guys!

You need to find the drag link first. Last I heard when I bought mine is that they were no longer made. That was a couple of years ago at Spector Off Road.

Thanks cruiser. I have a drag link assembly in place, and the hardware (i.e. steel) all looks good, just the bushings on the end closest to the bumper that look like crap:)

I think Mark is still making drag links.

Just bought a drag link from mark last week too. My steering is ugly if not dangerous. Drag link is a work of art

I would never buy from JT Outfitters again. Bought something off eBay that wasn't in stock (against ebay rules) They kept telling me it was mailed out. then 4 weeks later they told me it was backordered. I demanded a refund at that point. 3 weeks after that along with 10 phone calls I finally got my $$$ back but still no part. Total D-bags.
