I need some help here. Got a 11-64 fj45 that i am trying to get the steering shaft out from the box so I can get the tub off. Looks like I have to take the box off of the mount by the frame and then slide the shaft and all out from in front of the truck. Took the black sleeve off already that goes over the shaft. Everything is apart except for kinda rusty / shiny shaft. This is about the last thing prior to removing the body for me - the heater hoses which i am getting ready to go do now.

I searched the archives and found nothing.

    Thanks much for helping out.

Never mind, went ahead and pulled the whole thing, was pretty easy. Thanks anyway.
