So I'm in the middle of rebuilding the power steering pump on my 93 right now. The rotor that holds the veins fell out before I could see which end came out first. Both the top and bottom of the rotor look identical except one has a very small (1-2mm) slot machined in it. Does anyone know if the side with this slot faces toward the rear of the pump or toward the gear end?

Thanks,
Aaron

Nevermind. Maybe I should read the fsm more carefully before I post. It tells you which way the rotor and cam ring are supposed to face - using those little marks I was asking about.

Bada-BING! I hate when I do that. =)
