Steering column interchange?

Anyone have any experience changing columns between 89-95 models? I have a 91 2WD with no tilt and no intermittent wipers. I have a chance to get a 92 4WD column with tilt and intermittent wipers. Is the plug gonna work? Are the column lengths the same?

I've put an 86 tilt into a non 86, but it was two wheel to two wheel, no problems really...

The colum in my 88 is from an 85, the harness was the same, but the intermiten wiper doesnt work, works just like it did before the swap.
