Steering Box Rebuild

Anybody have any recommendations for an FJ40 manual steering box rebuild in the Springs area? I know West TX Offroad will do it for around $150, but it'd be nice to avoid shipping it away. There is also a place in Denver that will do it for about $150...but its a drive from Pueblo. Any suggestions??

Yeah, rebuild it yourself. How hard can it be?

I’m guessing really hard! Looks like for about $200 you can go pick up a rebuilt one at advance now! And the West Texas guys did an awesome job on mine!

I talked to the guys out in Salida at Classic Cruisers. They'll rebuild it and paint it up with new hardware for $100. Can't beat that!
