Starting problems

I have a 2001 LX 470 that has just developed intermittent starting problems. It will crank over but not start. I replaced the fuel pump and checked the keys but still have the problem of starting fine and then once a week not being able to get it started. Any ideas what I might be up against?

Hey thanks for the info and the heads up. I will print it out and get it to the dealership I am working with.

I know this may be a stupid suggestion - but I recall in the manual a warning that the car may not start if other keys are interfering with the signal going to the key (or some such thing). Which is to say - I would make certain that the problem persists when using the key completely on its own - off of its key ring.
