Just got done installing a new starter on my 99 cruiser. What a job!! Old one was starting fine but bendix wasn’t retracting after it was started and grinding. Well worth the time spent! Also replaced the dreaded Heater tees while doing this. Instead of using plastic tees, used brass ones from implement store.

P.S
Mice sure do like the intake valley.

I’d rather do the timing belt over the T’s again. Or just buy the OEM hoses! Did you remove the hood for the starter?

OEM T is $11

I was being sarcastic to a friend of mine. He suggested using the brass tees. I called Toyota they were like $30 or something. Didn’t want to wait. These work fine. Also no I didn’t remove the hood, was a pain in the ass though
