I have been away from the PI for 7 months due to medical issues.
The battery was stone dead so I purchased a new Gold series truck battery which is Tropical heat rated for $112.
I checked the oil level which was freshly changed the previous visit and added a few ounces of coolant to the reservoir.
I just touched the ignition switch and the diesel started immediately.
Nothing like an old school diesel to start after an extended period.
Went the local fuel station and added 45L of diesel at P47.75 per liter ($0.82).

Went to the local paint shop two days ago to get a quote for repairs in the tailgate area from damage caused by a tricycle driver a while back.
The shop will take care the that problem and a couple other small areas for P4000 ($70).
Picked up the truck last night….
Last night I decided to address the A/C not cooling properly.
Evacuated the system and watched to make sure vacuum held; added approximately 1.5 lbs or R134a which emptied my storage container. For now the air is COOL, but will need to refill the storage cylinder to trim the charge.
Several months ago I replaced the slave cylinder and rubber flex line; the clutch pedal felt strange after the truck sitting for 7 months. This morning I bled the system twice and verified the color of the fluid; the clutch pedal operates the clutch much smoother than before.
I need to get a SMOKE CHECK before they will reregister the truck and then go to the Land Traffic Office for registration.
Pictures below are while at the local LTO location getting the SMOKE check.
Passed the inspection and testing with flying colors; truck is reregistered for another year.
