Date: 03/30/2009 strongBLUERIBBON COALITION ACTION ALERT!br / br / Stanislaus NF - Motorized Travel Management Public Meetings Continuebr / br / Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,/strongbr / br / The Stanislaus National Forest, located in west central California, has just announced they are continuing to hold public meetings on the Forest's newly released Motorized Travel Management Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). br / br / To assist the public in understanding the DEIS, public meetings are planned for West Point and Modesto. A series of quot;drop-inquot; open houses are also scheduled in surrounding communities. In addition, the Forest will be hosting an Internet quot;Webinarquot; for those with on-line access.br / br / The Travel Management DEIS was released on March 6, 2009, for public review during a 60-day public comment period. Copies of the DEIS and newly published Errata are available at all Stanislaus National Forest offices.br / br / Meetings and open houses will include optional time for learning how to use the DEIS, maps and compact disc; browsing maps; and asking questions.
