Hi there, I recently purchased a battery tray from stainlesstrays.com for my FJ62 with the standard hold down, but I’ve realized it’s a bit too large.

I’m wondering if anyone has experience with the other two hold down options (Odyssey or Optima). I’m using an ACDelco 24GHR battery, which is about 6.8" wide.

I honestly went with a new OEM tray. The parts are still available.

The tray that my truck came with was completely rusted out.

The hold down is too large? 60 series are generally supposed to be equipped with a Group 27 battery, which is quite a bit wider than a Group 24.
