Great, any chance of a matching '97 oak color paint job?

All I have is the primer and the other colors listed. If you get a coat of primer you can then just spray it any color you want.

They are made for fj80s but I'm sure it will fit both

The different angles of the mount. Mine have a 45 deg angle and a little lip. Probably yours have a flat surface. I was going to modified it but I dont want to mess up your work.

I think the best solution will be to cut out a piece in the middle so that the lip of the cup holder will be able to go through.

I got the steel set in black, my stock console has the double lid and they fit and close with no issues. Just made a trip the Subway and the kids love their new holder thanks again

I got mine and installed it in literally less than a minute. Primer is a close match, a little light so i may try to match it a little closer.

Is it supposed to have that much play at the top; or is it possible to get one with the top flange broken at the appropriate angle to keep both top and bottom tight/flush? Please see attached pic for reference.

What year is your cruiser? Because I heard in some models it fits off however the best way to use it is on the passengers side.

Yeah it possible! I don't have an FJZ but I will look up dimensions on the console or you can take the dimensions yourself if you feel comfortable doing so.
