My 13BT has a squealing noise that goes away as the engine runs for a while. Might be a belt or an idler pulley.
I think I have correctly cross-referenced the engine belts with the corresponding Gates parts numbers.

Gates 9415HD for the aircon
TR22588 for power steering
TR22474 for the fan, etc. If I messed up please let me know.

I also saw that CruiserParts sells a idler pulley bearing for the 3B motor, would that be the same for the 13BT?

Thanks.

I always pull the part and degrease and take it to a bearing supplier and see if they can match it up as most bearings are imperial size but there are some metric sizes for a few motorcycles and no doubt Toyota have a few larking under the bonnet.

Thanks Oz. I live in an area that has no useful industries, just a university. I do use a machine shop where the guys know a lot.

I think now I'll buy Toyota belts, measure them myself, then look for similar belts later. I'm not so sure the American belts will match well, even in V angle.

My BJ74 was doing the same thing a while back (idler pulley) and a local bearings and drives company was able to supply the new bearing. All quiet now ..... Well as quiet as a 13B-T can be.

Good to, um, hear that it was an easy fix for you.

I have been looking at water pumps rebuild kits and such.

I did a lot of fitting and returning before i found ones that fit well in length and shape

Ahhh, that's great! Thanks for the legwork.
