My 97 4runner just started sputtering when cold. I run it for a couple minutes, Then it runs fine. What's the deal ??? Has anyone had this problem ? Do I have a bad injector, A misfire, What the Heck is my deal. Help me out please.

When was the last time you cleaned your MAF sensor?

Yes, The light does come on at that time. I just bought it a few months ago, So I have not done any type of a tune up yet. The PO said he just did all that. He took REAL GOOD CARE of it. I will check all this out and get back to you.
How many miles does it have on it?
Need to find out what the P code is that is stored in the computer. A lot of the auto parts stores have OBDII readers that you can use for free.
If you have no previous maintenance information, I'd do a tune up, clean the MAF sensor, check the air filter, etc.
