Left for work early this morning, colder weather now, low 60s. Truck started as usual but was spitting and sputtering. Sputtered at low RPM at every stop made and was hard to take off but was fine at higher RPM and highway. Engine light appeared for about 30 seconds and then went off. Last tune-up was 3 months ago before smogging. Hmmm...I did fill up tank yesterday morning. Water? in the gas maybe

Throw out some ideas, I won't be able to check it until this weekend.

if you suspect water in the gas, you can use a can of "HEET" to remove, or rather displace moisture.

also check battery terminals and the ground lug where the intake and plenum bolt up.

Water is not the problem. All hoses and wiring are correct and operational.

The bogging reminds me of a carb that is being flooded when the float goes bad.

I had my injectors rebuilt and calibrated last year so they should be fine.

disconnect the vacuum hose at the EGR vaklve while its sputtering.
whack the valve with a hammer. if any thing changes the valve is stuck open.

perhaps the cold start injector is leaking...
