i did not attend last year but I'm def. attending for friday and saturday night this year, barring any unforseen occurences. I do not know the deal on tent camping. Is there a designated spot for tent camping where everyone will be both nights, or will we be in a different location each night? I have stayed at Frisco woods before, and will get a cabin if need be, but I have plenty of camping gear that I can use and would be cheaper. As far as food goes, I assume we will be on our own for that, or will there be a cookout or something similar each night? It will be me and one other person in my FJ55. I am aware that there are plenty of places to eat and get supplies, so i'm not worried about that. Also, when I leave Raleigh, what will be my initial destination friday afternoon, night? If there is a discount on cabins, that may sweeten the deal.

There are discounts on cabins as we have a deal with Friscoe Woods. As for camping and where....we reserve a specific number of spots every year and this wont change this year we may just reserve a few less spots based on current attendance numbers. All spots will be camping either car or tent but will all be in the same area. If you get a cabin you will be further away but still able to join the group every night. As for meals the club plans one big meal the night of the raffle (paid for by the club or by meal ticket purchase/registration. We will also hopefully be doing a special menu meal with Outerbanks brewery again this year which we bill paid for by the individuals by a a discounted group rate. Hope this helps....

Greg, Put us down for 3. David and I will be down on Wednesday night and plan on leaving Saturday morning. His brother in law is also planning on making the trip with us. We will be camping and rolling in Dave's 60 with the army trailer. Look forward to seeing you boys.

Great Job again Brian and Family.

I have talked with several and some are having trouble getting through to Frisco Woods to reserve sites. You may have to call multiple times to get someone.

So, announcement has been posted in both SC, and MATLCA. I'll get to GA, TN, the other VA, and possibly some others.

Frisco has a facebook page, and it's been posted on there along with the official STR facebook page. It's also on the NCFJ Cruisers page, but so far no hits...

Side Note, Heather has been moved up for 27APR2011 as the new due date...

Frisco Woods Windfest is that same week!

art work looks sweet!

Art work looks sweet!

Wow, that looks like a pretty good time. I am going to check in this to see if I can make it, I assume since it was just posted up in the SC forum there is still room available/allocated?

Yep, WindFest is the same week, but per Frisco woods, we'll have space. I know two of the sound front sites just got booked by our members. Frisco Woods puts on the WindFest, and we have had our dat since last year. We're not going to change it, so we'll share the campgrounds with thouse guys. We'll be able to take advantage that they have some bonfires and activities already going on...

Gotta keep calling. It took me 8 calls to get in touch with them. Many misconnections were due to "network" difficulties.

Found a spot between the Dickersons and Wellers...

Well, there goes the neighborhood :)

share a site?

Does any one want to share a site with me and the pig cooker? I'm flying solo for this event does any want to split the cost? Or will frisco have a problem with that?

Not to be a pain, but my brother and I would love to come down Saturday from Virginia Beach. Does anyone know what time the Va state line run is. We also want to check out some of the other trucks, and pick up a couple t-shirts. I will be sure to let my cruiser brethren here at the beach know about the event.

Most of us are tent camping at Frisco Woods. There are some cabins available, but most of us are in tents.
