hey guys if any of you have done a spring over conversion on your fj40 what kinda price range would i be looking at to have this done?? im sure prices very just trying to get a general idea of total costs to do one to 76. thanks in advance.

i think my buddy's cost close to a grand with hysteer.

Mine ended up totalling about $2000 with steering, tires, driveshafts, springs, steel, everything!

It's been a few years since the last one I did but I had about $250 into the front housing and split arm, about $200 in drive shaft mods, $100 in welding help and a whole bunch of hours in grinding, drilling, cutting, wrenching and sweating. The ones I did included doing the shackle revesal up front. The cost factor really depends on how much you do and how much you pay others to do. In the end, the benefits are well worth the cost/effort.
