Anyone know where to purchase a set of these? Can't find anywhere but Australia, and they won't ship here. It's a lift assist for a camper roof.

Never seen anything like it, but I am thinking that it wouldn't be too hard to duplicate with a little imagination and a decent hardware store (or McMaster.com).
Not a fan of gas struts. They don't last nearly as long as a spring when implemented correctly.

Another option is to use gas struts on the outside. This would make it easily accessible to replace. But, I would agree that they don't last long. Especially, when exposed to the elements.
