Spring interchangeablity?

Hey guys, I did a search and couldn't find anything that answered my question. I have a chance to buy a set of leaf springs out of a 89 pickup for $50 and was wondering if they would fit into my 89 4runner?

89 runners have shorter rear springs like an 88 and older truck.

89 trucks have a longer spring pack.

When the trucks changed in 89, the runner stayed the same for one more year making it the exception.

Ok, thanks. So, if I read that right, the ones for the 89 truck are different than my 4runner.

yeah, I think they run around 53 inches or something, but if your willing to move spring hangers around they would be an improvement in flex and ride quality considering they are longer.
