Has anyone used any of the PowerTrays to successfully mount an sPod in their 200 series Land Cruiser?

I'm finally to the point of adding electronics (lights, etc) to my rig and grabbed an sPod. Before I go drilling holes in my fuse box cover, I wanted to see if anyone has ordered a mount from PowerTrays and successfully used it in their Land Cruiser (I have a 2013 edition).

A little bit ago I emailed the owner of PowerTrays and while he doesn't have a specific one for the 200 series, he thinks either the 4Runner or FJ version he has may fit. He asked for pics of my engine bay, but hasn't replied to them yet.

I'm not married to PowerTray, so if there are other solutions I'm open to them. This is the last piece I need to buy in order to get started with the install (for a trip in July).

I had one for the 5th Gen, and wound up not using it. It seemed more of a hassle than anything else. Your sPOD can be mounted cleanly to the top of your fuse box.

Another vote for top of fuse box, just allow enough cable to facilitate removing the fuse cover if necessary.

If your not going to put a ARB compressor in the same space. Very clean install.

Thanks for posting photos, I wasn't sure where it would fit. If that is where the PowerTray mount sits in the engine bay I'll need to go with the fuse box because I need that space for something else.

Good feedback. Thanks.

Knowing myself, I'd forget to do this. Thanks for the reminder.

For those who mounted to the fuse box, did you add grommets or silicon to the screw holes to help with water resistance in the fuse box?

I didn’t. The likelihood of getting an amount of water in there to cause harm is small. If you submerge to that level, there’ll be plenty of other issues.

Can you share details on that mounting bracket?
I do believe Tyler @ Rock Solid Off Road in S. Cal. Made the bracket. It lined up perfectly to the side of engine bay. It was on top of the fuse box but I did not like it. A compressor or the sPod can be mounted on the other side of motor as well.
