As I said, the new Toyota joints would not fit in the shaft yokes. the diameter of the cups was correct but the overall length of the joint was a feww mm too long so it was impossible to get both retaining rings on at the same time. the flanges at my diff and x-case are stock and have not been drilled nor are there any add-on flanges. Curiously, the new NAPA joints are made in Japan. The cups seemed to fit just right so I am not worried about it but will check periodically over the next month or so.
