Will spider gears from a mini low pinion diff work in a 80 high pinion 8? Mine started grabbing on the road so I had to pull my drive flanges.

I think the open carriers are the same, just the housing and cut of the gears. In which case they would.
 
Nice, good to hear. Looks like I can fix it this weekend.
