I am looking for a speedo overlay from Km to Mph. I have seen them for 40’s and 70’s series but not 100 series. I have a 98 diesel 100 series.

Just get one of the plug and play speedometer correction modules (like the Lutz or Yellow Box), you can also correct for tire size then too. Yellow Box's instructions even mention using it for KPH to MPH and vice versa.
The automatic transmission and VSC use speed sensors in their algorithm. But your '98 doesn't have VSC. Does it have a manual transmission? If so, it could possibly work okay.
