Just wondering what you guys think about standing on your spare tire? Do you think it would hurt anything?

I've stood on mine, not for extended periods though. Looking at the mount, its probably not the smartest thing to do but I do it occasionally...

I've definitely done it, but I don't recommend it.

It's one of the reasons I got a tire swingout. I'm sure its not good for the swingout either be it makes me feel better.

I was on a trail run with the trail teams and I saw someone sitting on the spare and shooting photos while creeping down the trail. Of course the truck was owned by Toyota so no real harm if the door crinkled in a bit anyways. Not recomending it, just saying i have seen it support someone before.

i have also 189 lbs and nothing, at a air show and kicked back , my theroy is if it breaks up grade!
