SOr tuff duck vynil soft top, material ?

Unfortunately I don't have an answer, but I can testify that material quality makes a difference. We went to Moab during the big storms a couple of weeks ago and started getting rained on on the freeway, so I covered the roof rack with a tarp. Once we got into camp the tarp was literally shredded, as if someone had taken a cheese grater to it. Bits of blue tarp were all over my stuff, and the tarp ripped in half. I used to think a tarp was a tarp was a tarp.
