I found some perfect door panels and a glove box and hopefully will be taking her home this saturday. I just got my order from damplifier and will be going to town on sound deadening and putting in the new carpeting, dash and sliders this weekend.

It came with the truck, I hate to say it but it is coming off. No heavy trail duty- more camping , wider logging road exploration, and daily driver for me. I am looking for a older hilux 79-85 to make my trail ride. This one is going to be too nice to give some carolina pinstripes.
 
Alright the day is set- I am taking delivery on Saturday. I found a very nice set of door panels and cannot wait to drive this damn thing home. If any of you are in Duluth on saturday morning stop by Merriam automotive. Id love to meet some UC members before I head north.

Spent the last two days going over every inch of this thing. Washed, polished, put dash cover on, new to me visors, spent all day sunday with my girls scrubbing the 20 year old gunk off the undercarriage. Best thing of all ...all bolts look new and zero rust anywhere- frame is cleaning up like new.

It was great meeting you and your family on Sat. morning. You are very lucky to have such a supportive family of the Cruiser addiction. This rig is fantastic!! Well worth the wait in my opinion. You are going to be hard pressed to find another in the States to rival the pure beauty of this thing. The paint looks even more awesome in person. I hope you can make it to OMT cause there will be many people excited to see what you have done here.
