I wonder what prompted my doing that?
I had to store the tub O' pans on top of the stove. It turns out you can actually pick up the stove, see the tub O' pans and still leave home without them. For some reason my camp stoves are stored on top of the tub with the camping pots and other camping kitchen gear.I wonder what prompted my doing that?
Check lists also help with keeping from forgetting stuff.
Most of the time I was close enough to a place that I could just get more pots, but one time... I had soup the first meal so I could use the can as a pot for future meals. I cooked eggs, and fried bacon in it the following morning. The next day I got wise and folded my stove's heavy weight aluminum foil wind shield into a fry pan.One of the best mistakes we had was when I left the grill at home. I sliced the round steak up into strips and we cooked it on sticks over the campfire. After that we always did round steak that way.
I have since reorganized so it wont happen again, stove and pans in same box

SNIP
with just bottles, I would have just had to get full on beer![]()
