I'm having the same issues. The battery in the remote died. After replacing it, locking the truck worked. Lights flashed. Unlocking seemed to work as well. When I tried to lock it, the lights didn't work.

Switching from locked to unlocked with the remote stopped activating the locks. Lights flash and beep for lock but the locks don't lock. No lights for arming it and the locks don't work.

I can hear something in all the locks but it's as if they are all failing in the same way at the same time.

Does anyone on this thread have a wiring diagram to see if there is a central component between the ECU and the actuator motors?

Download a copy of the EWD. It's in the Resources section.

Do you have a link to the motors you used? I ordered a new actuator (the whole thing) not just the motor and it's should arrive today.
I just completed this job on my 2001 470, all 5 locks (4 doors + tailgate). I learned the hard way that 3 of the locks use a motor with a collar and 2 (front doors) use a motor with a D-shaft. The two motors are NOT interchangeable and it's a real hassle to learn that after you've got your actuator motor broken open and ready to be replaced...

I would strongly recommend ordering BOTH motor types before you begin this job. Better to have 'em and not need 'em than vice versa.

Other tips that I learned the hard way so that you can (hopefully) learn the easy way:
- Keep track of the little rubber tube connected to the actuator housing and DON'T FORGET to put it back on before resealing your door
- unscrew the door handle (2 10mm bolts) so that you can move the actuator around to remove/replace without popping out the brackets & rods
- use 5-minute epoxy, not 1-minute epoxy (1-min cures too quickly and you won't get a strong seal
- test the motor at least 15 times (lock/unlock) after sealing to ensure you got it sealed properly... If it's a little loose, it can open up over time and cause the gears to grind up really bad (it'll make a loud sound and you'll know if that's the issue)
