***Solved....*** Transmission is locked after removing shift lever

I put in a new carpet kit and had to remove the shift lever to cut it out. It came out super easy and it went back in no problem but now when I go to shift I can't shift any gears. It's like it's frozen. What did I do wrong? Anybody have any suggestions to fix it?

Remove it and try again. Make sure that donut cushion under the ball end of the lever is in place.

That is what i did. It was just slightly to the righr and needed to be inserted a little more left! Thank you!
