i would first jump the pins for the pressure switch that is right in front of the battery. If the compressor clutch engages, that tells you the compressor is fine AND system pressure is too low and you prob need to add freon and that you do have a leak. if the jumping does nothing, then hotwire the clutch directly to isolate that.
