I just sold my 1976 FJ40. Hated to do it but have been driving my Fj60 more and cannot keep up on both. I have a smattering of FJ40 parts that need to go but I don't want to throw away. I am willing to offer them to anyone who is in need and is willing to pay shipping. The following parts can be had:
1. Parts from 1976 dealer-installed airconditioning system..condenser, under dash unit, York compressor bracket. The system was not working when I removed it.
2. 1976 vacuum retard distributor, coil, and ignitor, extra used distributor cap, points and condenser. Distributor worked when removed but I upgraded to electronic.
3. Various emissions parts. Gutted smog pump, air rail, EGR cooler, weird box with lots of vacuum hose fittings. Other pieces unknown to me. Stuff was given to me by PO in a cardboard box.
4. Windshield wiper motor cover..Olive Brown.
5. 1976 2F side valve cover.
These parts would be shipped from Zip Code 59725. Send me a PM. If no one responds within a few weeks, this stuff will hit the dempster with a dull thud.
