Hey there. I've had this cruiser for around a year, but my dreams of exploration will be on hold for a while with a 2 yr old and another due soon. I didn't even get this thing on a proper trail! Most of my adventures are on my Dual Sport bike these days. This is a well-sorted truck owned by a cruiserhead. I have $12,000 in receipts in the last 2 years, mostly from ATEB and EBI. Jon at ATEB is quite familiar with the truck if you care to look into it. Here we go:
243,000kms 1HDT Diesel Auto.
1990 Vx limited. Factory front and rear lockers and winch all work great. Has heated seats and fridge.
Lifted 2.5".
Bolt-on rock sliders.
No rust issues.
BEB's have been done, as well as Timing Belt.
ATEB did a full stainless exhaust, PowerRod/tune, Boost/EGT guages and replaced the front spindles.
Front end was rebuilt with new bearings and seals: nice and dry.
EBI did the 100 series big brake kit and supplied the Eagle Alloys (5).
285/16 Duratracs have about 85% left - full size matching spare.
Cruisin' Off Road supplied both Engine and Xfercase skids.
Rear hitch with wiring that works.
Very nice touchscreen Kenwood head unit.
Could use:
A sideview power mirror bracket on driver's side.
A/C recharge if you'd like that running.
Front window motors - they work but are Slow.
The paint on the top of the front fenders/part of the hood has that 90's UV peel but it's not too bad.
I'm taking a hit on this but it's time to move onto something more modern.
Don't buy a mystery truck from a non cruiserhead for more money
