Did I McOffend you?

25 Grand and the damn body is not secured to the frame...

Not at all. I was in agreement with you as Hltoppr stated. I thought that was a little steep for that truck. Hence the reason for the post. Just when you think prices have hit rock bottom, someone pays top dollar for a rig that's sporting the new invisible body mount.

PT Barnum was right; there is one born every minute.

Henry Mencken might get special mention here as well: "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

Are you guys sure that isn't one of those rare-earth opposite polarity magnetic suspension systems only available in NON-USA models?

:lol::lol:................funny cause its true. But not just Americans:lol:

Kevin,

No, definitely not just Americans (in fact, in my experience, Australians are even dumber). That just happens to be the quote.

Cheers,

Josh

Ok just listed my troopie on ebay just for the hell of it. Have a BIN of 19000,I might be pissed if it sells. I actually find it hard to believe those 2 cruisers sold for that amount,I can see the LV but not the troopie. I have found that there are a lot of people who like these things and can afford those prices and have no idea about forums like mud or tlca, they just like the way they look and can afford the price. I by chance i sell my beloved camper I will truly be amazed. Not that it is not worth the money but it seems crazy that cruisers are worth so much.

Lets see what happens.
James.
Oh if it does sell,Josh could probaly get 30,000 for his and maybe more.

James,

Sentimental attachment is a horrible thing- I don't know if I would sell Patches, even for that. If I were smart, I would have tried to sell her already. All she is doing is sitting up on blocks in my garage in Santa Fe with a trickle charger on the batts. I could buy a really nice troopy while I am living in the Nanny State of Australia and fix it up perfectly for our return to the States.... but I'm not that smart.

Don't sell Patches, Josh. That's a super clean and unique troopy.
