My, new to me, PZJ77. 91, factory lockers with a manual trans. Now to set about cleaning it up a bit. I have a good idea of what I need to start with, but any advice on a "parts survival kit." Thank you in advance.

I don't think this would have happened with out you chad.

It is indeed the 5 cylinder. It will get boosted eventually but not while I'm in Japan.
