Thought my kids would enjoy playing in the snow a bit before Christmas. So headed up North Main. These pics were taking around 750m elevation I think. LOTS of snow up there! So much fun to be had.

There is that much snow up there?? I think I might have to make a trip tomorrow. The GT Snowracer has three years of dust on it. I might even bring the kids.

Yeah, I actually saw people both skiing and snow boarding up there! Down the road even. Up where we were there was about 3 feet of snow.
Think you could have blazed a trail up where the chillens were climbing around?

Thats where I'd planned to go; its the way to that cabin on the Kludack trail. Would have been pretty tough. Go try it out!!

Seriously though I'd love a sled, been once and it was so much fun. A lot like dirt biking without the mud, dirt, water and clean up needed afterwards. Amazing sights and everything stays clean. It is a rich man's game though.

I grew up around them, the old man always had a couple race sleds he was working on. Some serious fun to be had with these things!!
