dang how much did you get....all we got was wind:hillbilly:

Well, it rained here on and off all day yesterday and we ended up with 1.25 inches of rain. My bro and his family stayed at our cabin in the Lagunas (5600') and he sent me pics of the snow. A good 6" on the ground he said....Nice Thanksgiving for his kids - their first time seeing snow falling.

5"-6" snow nice and sunny today:)

Saturday morning in Big Bear I woke up at 6am to let the dogs out, cloudy skies, no snow. By 8am there was 3"+ on the ground and falling. Drove into town to fill up before heading down the mountain around 10am and saw lots of slipping and sliding. Big rigs stuck on hills blocking lanes, pickup trucks spontaneously doing 180's while driving on flat ground going 10mph, and lots of the slow sliding up to stop lights type thing. I lost traction a few times, but not too much to be done except turn in and wait. Fun times. Cant wait for the rest of the winter when I can stay up there for a longer time and do some snow wheeling.

Ya, we ran up to Green Valley Lake and had a similar story. No snow when i took the dog for a walk then about 6 inches before we left around 11:00 am. The plows never made up so we had to make the 5 mile stretch to the 18 on our own..Funny thing is i ended up having 4 cars follow the cruiser down the unpaved road. All 4wd's but none of them wanted to take the lead.
