We can bring Goetta for breakfast on Saturday. It's a breakfast meat from Cincinnati & since my brother was just here, Goetta was delivered with him, as it usually is so I can get my fix! :)
 
Okay Chris, you beat me to this. For the dinner on Sat. night as this is the meal everyone has paid for please keep your receipts for what you fix and the club will reimburse you. You don't have to pay for the meal and the food you bring. I think the cooking for this meal should be in the hands of the club, not our guests. Remember Ed is doing the meat. At this time we have 43 people signed up, tho not all passengers seem to have been purchased a dinner ticket. And in at least one instance more meals were purchased than people accounted for. We also have 4 kids, but they don't eat much. We will probably get some LATE registrations.

I will do baked beans for Sat. I have some cole slaw and potato salad from Asher's that I will bring if it keeps. It is vacuumed packed, so we will see. If we want pancakes one morining the club still has pancake mix and syrup. We also have biscuits (6 doz.) and gravy frozen (lots).
 
We also have lots of tortillas, large bag of shredded cheese. several bags of hamburger and hot dog buns, about 4 packages of hot dogs, 2 bottles of Gates BBQ sauce, 2 cans baked beans, all left over from the weekend at our house. Ingredients for chocolate cherry dutch oven cobbler.
 
As of today we have 43 meals paid for and 5 kids. There are some people who haven't paid for a meal, but are shown as passengers. I would guess we wil feed at least 50 adults. For Sat. dinner I "talked" to Ed and we thought potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans to go with the brisket. He was appointed the meal planner at some point. If we stick to this we will have a coordinated meal. So now we just need volunteers to fix the stuff.

Also, we have salsa for breakfast burritos if we do them. I am working on a salsa recipe for competition and will probable bring some for sampling and your expert opinions.
 
pretty sure Jenn has some salsa canned at the house.. Course i've been working so many hours I have no idea what's going on at the house.
 
All the remaining salsa I canned was taken to the Asher's weekend event. I know when we left there were still quite a few left. I will ask Debie this weekend how much is left.
 
We had 8 left, but I think we are using those for raffle prizes if that is ok. The salsa is wonderful, so they will be great prizes!!! I will bring eggs for the breakfast burritos. Do you want help with baked beans. potato salad or cole slaw Peggy? I know you said we need desserts also. I can make cole slaw and a dessert.

Yes, that is perfectly OK1 :) I'm just happy you think it's worthy of being a raffle "prize" & not a "Hey, we have tons of this crap left so here, take it!". :D
 
Yes, we are using the salsa for the raffle and adding a few small things to the bags. We need potato salad and cole slaw. I will decrease the amount of beans I am bringing since we have another offer. I believe we also have some tortillas. I will chek. My computor is down, thanks to the storm the modem is out so internet. Am using the library and am limitedin time. Will recheck supplies that the club has and try to communicate again this evening.
 
That will work. You can bring the potato salad. If you want to do the full amount we are feeding around 50 people so far. Debie, if you can do enough cole slaw for everyone that would be great. That way everyone is getting the same meal, rather than different stuff like a pot luck. If someone could do cookies or brownies that would be a good and easy dessert.
 
I have a change of plans and need to add a few Saturday meals if its possible. I will have an extra 4-6 folks coming out for the afternoon and evening. Let me know if its a problem and I will work around it. Thanks
