Hello all! I have posted my question a day earlier on the basic forum but someone suggested to post on the diesel section. Bare with me as I'll try and write all the details. I'm from Pakistan and here mechanical labour is really cheap.
I have a 80 series originally a 1hdt but now a 1hdft. Since I switched my vehicle to a 24valve it drove perfectly. A few months later I got black smoke cause of which I gave it to a diesel pump repair shop and they screwed my pump to make it powerless at low rpm. I then gave it to another shop and they ruined it more. Cutting short I gave it to 4/5 shops and the final guy made the pump powerful again but what happened then is that it gave whitish blueish smoke once I stopped anywhere and on AC. I was told it might be rings or valves. I got my engine completely checked. The turbo has a very little oil ( my mechanic says it's completely OK ) rings were installed though old ones were OK too. I got a used pump ( old nozzles ) had it installed. Car runs just OK and the same problem is there.
Car doesn't give any black smoke while driving but on idle and in gear starts to give whitish smoke and more smoke if AC is on. No smoke at all ( at least I can't see any ) at parked with no AC. Now I have absolutely no idea if my last pump was completely OK finally and I changed it for no use cause it's the same problem. That white smoke. Any one has any idea what it can be. I can get anything checked but someone please help what it can be. Can it be that I didn't get my nozzles timed with this pump? Can it be I should advance my pump timing? Can it be a faulty transmission? I did notice a slip in gear when I accelerated but once I left the pedal and pressed again all went OK. Otherwise transmission runs fine ( I guess ) any help would be highly appreciated!!
