Picked up a XRC and with the feet forward position I don’t see how I can mount the solenoid box on the winch. Looking for suggestions on mounting location.

clock the winch or is a space issue? I had to add aluminum spacers underneath my winch to make it fit.

Using supplied brackets the solenoid box would sit low and almost under valance. Unless I’m missing something.

Solenoid doesn't have to go on the winch. Add extensions and locate box wherever you want.

Thanks for reply, I know the box came be mounted wherever. I was looking for examples from someone that’s been there done that.

I'll see if I have any pics. I relocated under the hood. (I don't own the truck anymore)

Which XRC did you install? Gen2 or Gen3? Did you have to buy/use any mounting brackets?

Gen 2, no brackets but needed to add spacers between bumper and winch because the bumper angles back and very ends of winch get into bumper.
