"Early-ish" Chevy 283 f/s. Cannister filter as opposed to spin on dates it somewhat, but I really don't know.
I can get you the numbers off the block and heads if you tell me where to look for them.
I ran them at one point as one of my buds seemed to think "it was a corvette motor; it's got the right heads."
I was never able to confirm that.

It came in my 1965 FJ45LV, and the swap was done early in it's life. It has all the mounting barckets, which were hand made, and torch bent/cut. Has a three speed trans attached you can have for free. This should mean an easy swap to sm420/465.

Ran well when pulled-tho the freakish oddball carter carb on it didn't help it and I wouldn't recommend using it. Oil pressure was 60 pisi at rpm, 40psi at ilde.

Christiansen and Fox can both vouch for at least having ridden in the vehicle with it; tho I never ran it besides around the yard as the LV was nowhere near inspectable.

$250 seems reasonable for a running v8 and all the mounts, but hey, I want the shop floor space back too, so make me an offer if that don't suit you.
